Statement

I  make small, quiet oil paintings. My most recent series, Future Perfect, address the impending doom of climate change. The series includes paintings of extreme storms, flooding, droughts, fire and pipeline explosions. My previous series, Western State Terrorism, highlight the devastating impact of war by the US military and coalition forces in Iraq, Iran, Pakistan, Syria, Yemen, Afghanistan, and Palestine. The paintings include bombings, remote drone warfare, tactical strafing, torture, and overt destruction of civilian infrastructure
